Dear Members,

You will appreciate that a Care Taker Committee managed CBRECHS during 2003 to 2006. After the end of Care Taker setup, the bottom line is that financial health, market reputation and positive recognition of the society where every one is ready to pay or become member of the society.

That on 05.03.2009, the Cooperative Department announced election of the general body on 16.05.2009. The last date of filing of nomination papers was 28.03.2009. There were only two centers for voting i.e. Karachi & Islamabad. Some member challenged the Karachi as polling station in Islamabad High Court vide W.P. 376/09. However, the demand was not entertained by the Court.

Subsequently, on the demand of various other members/groups who were desirous of contesting, the schedule of election was repeatedly amended and proclaimed in the newspapers. Ultimately, elections were held on 26.05.2009 at four locations whose results are also available on the website of the society.

The CTC has relinquished the charge on 29.05.2009 and the newly elected management has stepped in. A meeting of the newly elected representative also conducted on 29.05.2009 wherein various issues/problems discussed.

My colleagues and I will try tooth and nail to come upto your expectations and accomplish the confidence which members have reposed on our team. On this occasion I invite all well-wishers of the society who could not succeed in the election to come forward and extend their full cooperation for the betterment of the organization. Their criticism for correction will serve as a guideline to lead the society towards its destination.

In the end, I thank all members for their zealous participation in the election, display of tolerance and pleasant end of election-game.
